Running Gear forum suggestion

I normally don't want to see continuous splitting of discussions, but...

I have seen running gear related discussions happening in all forums. Typically people have specific questions on gear that would be helpful to all if located in one place.

This morning I scanned just the first page of all groups and found many threads that all groups would benefit from reading. I started to add them to this post, but stopped after I reached 20. Obviously there many on running shoes (selecting, replacing, and washing), but many on treadmills (selecting, tm vs. outside), HR and GPS (selecting, features, accuracy), and crosstraining equipment (stairmasters, bikes).

I suggest limiting the discussion to selecting gear and features of it. Developing training plans using an HR monitor would still be best in the apropriate age/speed related groups.

Thoughts?

Re: Running Gear forum suggestion
so when are the admins going to do this? and if you do PLEASE offer sepearte categories and not one lump "review" section. I'm on some other running boards and they just have a "review" section and you have reviews on music to restaurants..stupid..got the make the forums useful.
