After dinner we can walk back along Agate street and stop in at the track and soak in those speedy Track City vibes. I'm assuming the track meet will be done by then. But not to worry, we will see Hayward Field again in the morning at the start of the marathon. It's all good!
Earlier, during our tour that day, we can stop off for a bit at the Amazon trail, which is a mile-long loop where elites often train. A soft wood-chip surface -- nice! I'll also show you other places, including where Prefontaine crashed his car and died.
