Congratulations on your upcoming FIRST Marathon. How is the taper treating you? Will you be there at the boomer's pasta dinner. I hope so.
We wish you the best on your victory lap and please give us a race report once you are done.

Be proud of yourself!!!!!!!!!

Tet, I'll only be in town for dinner Saturday night, but a couple of barefoot laps around the track at Hayward prior to eats at B & G sounds good to me.

Anyone else???

thank you econo ichiban. I especially look forward to feeling those Amazon soft wood chips on my soles and to seeing if the famed Hayward Field Track will be accessible Saturday evening so John and I can lead a barefoot lap (pink thongs available for others if needed).

Otherwise, maybe before the marathon/5K starts, we can take a warm-up lap or two on the famed track of Pre and Alberto to another Olympic Trials this summer. yippee

While you're doing all this running around and looking for the homes of the stars etc., somebody make sure to get me Kenny Moore's home address so I can send my letter to him. Spareribs

Econo...What do you mean by great. A great weather for an Oregonian could mean rain

Posalina NEVER frets... she is just trying to pack the right clothing for the event. I have to chose the right pair of socks and shoes for the rain, one thing you will never worry about right descalsolino?

econo and cohorts---i am so envious that i can't join you this weekend for the return of the marathon to eugene! after i had surgery I knew it was out of the question to be ready to run, but i had hoped to enlist as a late volunteer. alas, we are going out of state this weekend. i send my best wishes for a fabulous time to all Boomer runners, volunteers, partiers and visitors! maybe we Portlanders can put something similar together for the marathon on October 7! glidegal
