40/40 Tally Week for ending March 18

Again with thanks to the very kind Pro, I present his findings.
Feel greta this week guys.

Cheers
Egret

And Here's Cigar, your host tonight.

Ok, so last week I was feeling a little bit like a poser since I hadn?t run 40 miles and was guest hosting 40/40, kinda? like that Saturday Night Live episode where the host is allowed into the club of ?multiple hosted SNL celebrities?.

So I upped the ante and ran 44. Of course in the process I was nearly hit by a car, jumped into a ditch and busted a knee. But did I give up? No. Did I cut back to heal? No. I toughed it out to be part of the 40/40. You guys rock.

And I?m back to host again! Like it or not!Egret is hurting a bit and I?m helping out because I?m a nice guy. lliw ym tsniaga dleh gnieb m?I ,pleH<br/>And it?s wicked cold as h*ll in here

So now it?s spring like and I realize I have a schedule and races laid out to attack. Am I the only one? I?m doing ok for end of winter fitness, but calendarizing races, categorizing them as A, B and C races, and synching schedules to support the training is important, or we?ll (I?m assuming I?m not the only one) soon realize we have a big race in two weeks!Ack!

Quotes:
? I never realized until lately that women were supposed to be the inferior sex.
? If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun.
? Without discipline, there's no life at all.
Katherine Hepburn
? Eighty percent of success is showing up.
? I don't want to achieve immortality through my work... I want to achieve it through not dying.
Woody Allen

I get to go first:

Egrd,

Taper time means I'll be dropping out of the 40/40 for a 2-3 weeks. Hope to be back soon.

Thanks Cgaigret!

Longest week for me since late-Jan. hamstring pull. Fitness is coming back, but slowly. The injured hamstring is still noticeably tighter than the other one. I don't want to attempt fast speedwork yet, but tempo runs seem OK.
