Kimble - on the triks website, it says they will ship anywhere in the world for an extra $10. So, on top of the shipping charge they already have, it'll be quite a bit you'd pay for shipping, but the option is there if you want it.

No flippin' in the wind.
Very comfortable.
Why run in them?
Why not?

Rosie, if I may say, you look hot in that pic.

I'm a shorts type. I feel like I should be hitting a ball or a birdie (shuttlecock) in a skirt.

that surprises me Souci . . . I could have sworn I've seen a picture of you in a skirt before and I must say you looked quite good in it!

The marathon girl skirts don't flip up in the wind. The ones with side slits will fly up slightly bu they have bike shorts underneath, so no big deal.

I'm pretty sure (at least I hope) that kilts will flap around in a good breeze. Tammy, don't you have a picture of that somewhere?

Scroll up, Dove . . . and you will see the requested picture

In my shopping cart at Triks, I have the gymgirl skirt, which is the one with the bike style shorts underneath which is what I prefer anyways. I also have the coolmax tshirt in white as it's also on sale ($25). Have you ever ordered one of those Dove? I don't like "formfitting" shirts when I run, I prefer a looser shirt otherwise I have this claustrophobic feeling. I'm not sure if I should order the medium or large on the coolmax tshirt.

Sorry Tammy, I don't have any experience with Triks shirts (Target C9 is all I can afford after buying those skirts).

I did see the pic you posted, and a lovely picture it is. The one I was refering to, though, is one of bagpipers on a windy day. Do you have that one or did some other kilt-lover post it?

These are tennis skirts rather than running skirts. (Would this be a fine-able offense?) Some of them are $20 and under, and they seem to run a little longer than the running skirts. I'm going to try some on at Modell's. Not all come in wicking fabric, so that's something to be careful about.

Jemmama,
Many of those look like they would work, just be careful not to buy one with pleats... they can flip up in a breeze! (See picture above)

I got a really nice running skirt at Sports Authority recently, by Head (I think), marked down from $40 something to $12.97. I'm sure someone returned it, but I snatched it up! It has the wicking shorts underneath. So you can find some nice things on sale... Can't wait till it warms up enough to wear it outside!

And I also got some nice running bra tops that could go solo, but if I don't feel like going that bare I have some loose fitting mesh tanks that offer just the right amount of coverage without overheating... I sweat like a horse, especially in the gym! Gotta balance the overheating with the over-exposure thing...
