Mon Boomer Runs 3/26

Morning Boomers
I wonder who is still on a massive high this morning?
I had a cracking little 2 miler with the dog, no niggles, next PT appointment on Wed, hopefully he will up the mileage. Cool sunny morning here, just right for a run.
Anyway, 2m 22:21 @ 11:11 pace AHR 136
Good Runs All
Roy
PS: Holly, keep smiling

Good Morning Boomers!

Some nice runs so far to start the week, Roy, Cfli and RobP.

{{{Perch?s foot}}}

I dragged my tender quads out for an easy-paced 6 miles this morning in a lovely 60 degrees.

A couple more notes on yesterday?s race. Thanks for all the mile pacers. I really did pull out my little list and check it out every few miles, to see who was sending me energy for that leg.

Divechief ? you mile was #15, and it was then that I noticed my toes hurt and I stopped to tighten up my laces, as you had told me to do several months ago.

Fran ? about halfway through the race, I noticed a man who had blood all down the front of his shirt from his nipples, and I though about your nipple-taping advice. Poor guy, that must have hurt, especially with the sweat dripping down his chest. My heart went out to him.

Boss is back today, but my son has stomach flu, so I will be going in just long enough to forward the calls to my cell and bring work back home.

Happy Monday!

Holly's not skipping a beat today. NIce run.

Just a little 3.3 easy run for me. Beautiful 39F temps this morning with a pretty sunrise.

Holly, continued congratulations! Seems like lots of us are taking it easy today. I begin week 4 of the HM schedule. I'll charge right into my day "off". I do a yoga class today.

I'm going to wash all the winter stuff and put it away until next year. That should insure another freeze, but at least we'll get it over with.

It is too nice outside to rest . . . but I'm doing it anyway because I need to.

Holly - Congratulations!! That was a greta picture you posted yesterday. Can't believe you were out for another 6 miles already . . . you are a running fool!!

Cheers!

Holy, tomoley! After my first marathon I was virtually crippled for several days. Obviously you were very well trained and are in very good shape.

A rest day for me after my first real bike ride of the year -- a 30-miler yesterday out and back on a paved rail-trail. The trail runs generally from southwest to northeast, so with the wind out of the east (unusual), I was looking forward to a ride where for once I would be against the wind on the way out and then have it behind me on the way back. Foolish me! By the time I got to the current end of the trail, the wind had veered around to the south and I rode into it again on the way home. I averaged about 13-14mph, so not bad for the conditions and first time out.

Morning Boomers!

Thanks for kicking us off this morning!

Wow, did they move Michigan south when I wasn't looking? 68 degrees at 5:30 this morning. I had a nice 7.25 mile recovery run - it felt sooooo good! Possible snow predicted for Sunday, so this is just teasing weather.

Good runs to all!

Hi Everyone:
Another unusually warm Michigan morning at 60 degrees at 5:30 a.m. Ran 3.5 miles. Right knee started feeling stressed around 2.8 miles but kept going.

Edited to add a short walk before lunch?? about 1.3 miles.
Good running to all.
Lynne

An early and easy 3 miles this morning. I am now going to get a large cup of hot coffee and read some race reports.

{{{Perch?s foot}}}

{{{Holly's head}}} a six mile run after running a marathon - outstanding. Does your head know that your legs are a bit tired???
