March Boomer Miles?

(I was s-o-o-o tempted to use the Labduck/Subway sandwich photo this month but the poor guy?s suffered enough already.)

Note: I?ll be on the road and off-line for a few days so I?m posting this early (hoping it won?t get lost) and will report results a day or so late this month. Have fun.

Be sure to post:
1. your total mileage for the month (indicate if this was a PR)
2. any race PR?s (include distance and time)

Revised February numbers (incorporating late posters)
Total = 13,336.7
Average = 117
Median = 117.35

Original thread is here[/URL" target="_blank">

Background for newcomers: At the end of each month, Boomers are required by the
Bureau of Transportation Statistics[/URL" target="_blank"> to note how many miles (or kilometers) they have run that month. Don?t ask why; it?s the law. You must be 40+ years old and run or walk at least 1 mile to be eligible. Sorry, only running and walking numbers are counted. Figuring out a way to incorporate cross-training numbers would cause my head to explode. The deadline is midnight EST on the 2nd of the new month. The numbers are tallied and posted (usually on the 3rd) in a simple analysis that includes various awards, serious and silly. No matter how few or how many miles you have, please post! Every mile is an accomplishment. Final, revised numbers that incorporate late-comers will be reported with next month?s announcement. However, late posters are not eligible for awards and may be required to perform household chores for AJ because I think she?s the only one who ever reads the fine print.

Have a good trip Tramps. Thanks again for doing this.

15 days on the DL did not help my mileage.

78.5 for the month, a PW for the last year. Hoping for a better April.

----> March miles: 132
----> 2007: 331 a most beautiful prime number

Overshot my goal of 110; this is a good thing. Aiming for a skosh more next month as Mt. First Prez looms ominously in the near distance. . . . .

^^ Danke schön, Tramps, and a hearty Viel Glück in your April Fools' Day 'thon ! Sub-4, mayhap ? ? ^^

Re: March Boomer Miles?
Yikes, where did this week go? I haven't had time to run since Monday, so unless I run at lunch (doubtful), or run tomorrow (doubtful), I will end up with:
March = 48 miles
YTD = 86 Miles

Thanks tramps!

Re: March Boomer Miles?
Tramps, have a splendid marathon! Love the photo.

March - 200 miles
575 miles YTD (that CR log does make recordkeeping simple!)

I'll be sound asleep at a convention tomorrow so no March 31 running -- besides, it's a nice even number!

ETA: PR for 1/2 marathon 1:32.59
