March 2007 -
21.0 happy barefoot miles (
not even Canadian manic math from January can help me get more miles this time)
. . . 3/03 - 3.5 miles (cherry blossom training run)
. . . 3/11 - 3.4 miles (St. Pat's Dash)
. . . 3/25 - 14.1 miles (Mercer Island Half Marathon + one mile warm-up)
Starr - even though you doubled your YTD mileage in one month, I still almost would have caught you except for getting sick for 3/31 marathon; I'll never forget your barefoot midnighting and what you did with it on July 4th too, you know.
ps - it's ladies like you Starr who make me happy to say "you first" to you any month, any race, . . . and any midnight thread too!

It's an honor. Congratulations on your big month.
YTD - 73.4

Tramps - thanks so much for getting getting some of us to care about running more than just being something we get to do every once in a while.
In particular, even though I'm a ladies-first guy all the way, I'm honored to be first-of-the-worst (at least through 110 posts, . . . unless rindie is lurking) and keep econo and hopeful from the ignominy of the worst, I mean best, minimalist but, for me, it's the best place to be and, with official acknowledgements starting in January, an honor my 3.1 mile Jingle Bell run in December missed. yay!
Thank you again; it's the best running company possible
