Re: Weightloss Pact - Week 4
Okay everybody, tomorrow is a big eating day for many. I know we'll be heading over to my dad and stepmom's house, and there will be quite a spread laid out to eat. It's a family joke that my stepmom puts a stick of butter into everything she makes, so you can be sure the healthy choices will be minimal.
Here's my plan of attack:
1. I'll start out with a long run in the morning, then a good breakfast, and maybe I'll have a salad before I head over there, so I won't be starving and graze all afternoon before the meal.
2. I won't stand right by the munchie/chips buffet to talk. I can inhale a whole bag of chips with dip if I'm not paying attention.
3. I'm going to make my calories count - if I'm going to indulge, it better be really good. I'm not wasting my binge eating on ho-hum food.
4. Stay away from the chocolate. If I have one, it's hard to stop.
Okay, troops, we're going in. Ready?
