40/40 Tally and Week Ending April 15

Oh Golly guys - it's been a crazy week. Very sorry there wasn't a block of time for me to get the tally done. Does it even make sense to do a tabulation for last week at this point? Ha.

I'll think if Fortunate One is still willing/able to help out, we'll put him in the host chair, and me in the penalty box.

In the meantime - cheers: to those who are recovering from injuries and getting back to training, to those who are recovering from their LRs and are deep into their toughest training, to those who are going taper-crazy and getting ready to dig for the race of their dreams and to those who are in recovery from their race. Whomever you are on this list - here's to you.

And I hope all those who are racing this weekend and of course on Monday dig deep, find it, and bring it home. Run with joy.

For Emcee, Tall, jjchaney, lyndenrunner, WillRunForBeer, TomD:
If you want to win a race you have to go a little berserk.
Bill Rodgers

For nighthawk42, timlooney, Fortunate One, wa5yom, dshclio, robp:
Run like **** and get the agony over with.
Clarence DeMar

For dtoce, busiman, Better than yesterday, Caddisfli, goofyguy1958, andbrennnnneeeennnnger1:
The idea that you can't lose contact with the leaders has cut more throats than it has saved.
Arthur Lydiard

For Ilene, Meg, Rosie, predawnrunner , hollys4874
I thought about how many preconceived prejudices would crumble when I trotted right along for 26 miles.
Roberta ?Bobbi? Gibb, first woman to run the Boston Marathon 1966

Cheers
Egret

Egret, have you gotten anyone to take over? I could probably do it for 2 weeks, but not 3 weeks from now (anticipating post-marathon brain-lock, if not depression, not to mention travel).

Mon - 0
Tues - 4
Wed - 7
Thurs - 4
Fri - 0
Sat - 6.2 (10K race)
Sun - 12

Total: 33.2

Actually, bty, as you'll see from the other posts, posting at least once with a 40-mile (or greater) week entitles you to post while tapering too. At least with the current management, you get free passes until your marathon. It's the best deal on the internet!
