The real speedster in the family

Hi, I'm Rob and I am DEFINITELY not the fastest person in my household.

Forgive a proud papa -- but I am bursting with joy/pride for KeeMan.

As many of you know, he got in his first really solid winter of training to get ready for track. Logged close to 400 miles of base training and is now seeing the results.

So, tonight was his third shot at the 3200 this season and it produced another PR. Last Friday, he achieved his first goal of the season (earning his varsity letter time) by running a 10:28 (which was a 19 second PR).

Tonight, he did it again. Shooting to finish 3rd or better -- he dropped a new PR of 10:11.

After the race, I told him that he is a beast and that I can't keep up. Kind of bittersweet -- but freakin AWESOME!!!

Here's the finish of the race -- see how tight it was at the finish (KeeMan's the one with purple in his uniform):

This concludes the crowing from this lost boy...

You still control the wallet and can ground him for something.

How cool is that? KeeMan is really a chip off the old block. I'm glad he's doing so well and what a cutie patootie too! How old is he?

Pass along our congratulations to him.
