I will be there. Not sure what to expect since I ran Boston 3 weeks ago and a relay 2 weeks ago. My legs are starting to get a little life back into them. Should be fun regardless.

I'm there. I think Imsoslow is running it too. Please feel free to email me. Have you ever run the Indy Mini before? It's an experience. cj

Indy is a great experience!  I am sidelined with an injury right now, otherwise I'd be heading over that way next weekend.

Have fun, Indy Running Boomers!!!!

Anne, really sorry to hear about your stress fracture. I hope it heals quickly. I'm sure the conditioning you are doing will make the transition back to running a smooth one for you. Please keep us updated on your progress. Next race you enter, let me know. Maybe I'll join you. Cindy

I'll be tailgating in the first turn at the track.  Stop by for a Milwaukee's Best and a Johnsonville!  !http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/biggrin.gif|src=http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/biggrin.gif|border=0!

Good luck to all at the Mini!

How nice! Will you both be running together, or are you at different paces? This is the first year my nephew isn't running it in awhile. He tried for the 500 medal 2 years in a row, and just missed it both times. Responsibilities caused him to bow out this year -- just not enough time to train. We never ran together since he is much faster than I, but it was always special knowing we were on the same course.
Do you know yet when you are going to the expo? cj

I'm running it too.  This will be my third year in a row.  I come all the way from NY (state) for this race!

This is a race I have been running with my brother, who lives in Ohio.

I've been a runner for a long time, but he has just been running for a few years. The Indy Mini is an event we decided to run together. This year, my nephew (who lives in Indy) and my nephew's father-in-law (from England) will be joining us. It'll be the first half marathon for them.

We run the race at a pace that my bro is comfortable with--it's a little slower than what I can handle, but I like running as his wing-man.  Though we're not setting any records, the experince of the race and the atmoshpere and spending time together is priceless.
