Re: Running Fit Trail Half-Marathon RR
Thanks, all.
DH and Skip -- The Haywards held up fine. They are a soft, lightweight trainer with more support than a true racing shoe. I ran the Detroit marathon in them last fall. This time I wore my orthotics for a bit of extra support.
SS -- I was gaining on Buzz Cut in the last mile, but she had a kick too and kicked my butt with it. Turns out she's Canadian. You people are seriously tough.
Skip -- I just did this because it was there and I wanted to run about 13 Sunday anyway. I do have some ultra ambitions for the far future, but nothing immediate. Rosy hopes of a fall marathon on the roads, but for reasons that will become clear soon enough, I am unable to make firm plans just yet.
rose -- foot feels good today, but of course I will rest today anyway. My legs are tired. Thanks for asking.
