Thanks for stepping up again Gordon. Don't worry about the tallies. No plan this week. Stick a fork in me. The top of my right foot was hurting pretty bad after Boston and its gotten a lot worse every time I run. Looks like a metatarsil stress fracture. No running for a while.

My marathon recovery plan for this week (IT band permitting)

Monday-4 miles- easy slow below IT band pain level
Tuesday-pilates
Wednesday- 5 miles-same as Moday
Thursday- yoga
Friday-off 4 miles
Saturday-of
Sunday- HM used as a LSD training.
Total-26 miles

Thanks Gordon, this could use a bump. A little more running last week, hope to continue that trend
Sunday= 3 mile run and geocaching
Mon =2.25 mile run and unsuccesful geocaching
Tues=30 min hiking + 1.10 hr weight training and 30 min Stairmill
Wed=2.5 mile run
Thurs=3.75 mile run 45 minutes weights
Fri=hiking
Saturday=2.25 mile run
totals
13.7 miles run
30 min stairmaster
2 hr 25 min weights

I've revised and edited over and over but let's try this:

Sun. graduation party
Mon. 8 miles (7.75 DONE)
Tues. 5 miles + swim? (5.5 DONE)
Wed. Track practice (4.12 DONE)
Thur. 3 + Power Yoga (yoga only)
Fri. 8 - 10 miles (10 miles DONE)
Sat. commencement DONE

Final Totals: 27.37 miles + yoga

Tue.......7 peppy miles
Wed......1050y swim
Thu.......4x half miles (3 miles total)
Fri.........biked to work & back
Sat........rest, some core & upper exercises
Sun.......10 EZ miles

Total 20 miles! woohoo! Back on track.

Yes, SIR, lyndenrunner, SIR! I had my fill of injuries and sickness and such for a long time... I would be glad to leave them all behind.
This week is for recovery, no plans whatsoever.
Gordon, you have been so faithful in putting on this thread for us, so I am volunteering to take the rest of the month of May if you like. Let me know,

Thanks Gordon. This week's plan:

Monday: 5 mile race
Tuesday: 6.7 mile cross country run
Wednesday: Badminton
Thursday: 6 mile trail run with some speedplay thrown in.
Friday: Rest (thank goodness)!
Saturday: 5 mile easy trail.
Sunday: 12 miles with last 6 at HM pace.
Total: 34.7 all done and I feel good!
