Good morning, everyone. Time to wake up!
It was another beautiful day in Maryland, although a bit warmer at 61F and possibly a tad more humid than yesterday.
Today's run was a very pleasant 6.2 miles, run at a fairly easy pace of 8:19/mi (51:06).
Good runs to all.

Vista - I'm happy that your heart is in good shape, I hope they get some answers for you soon.
WRFB - Nice run today!
Great running weather in Michigan this morning. About 56 degrees on my side of the state. As I turned off of our road this morning, I heard the cockadoodaldoo of one Rooster. Brinkley and I went on our "Mary" way for 3.5 miles at my most impressive pace so far this year . . . .
9:17!!
yeah!! There were more roosters cockadoodadoodling as I ran back home - I think they were cheering me on. !http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/biggrin.gif|src=http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/biggrin.gif|border=0!quote:

Oh man! Is that a bummer. Hope it's a very short ban. Take care of yourself Vista and don't be a stranger here. You don't have to be running to post.
Yesterday was a rest day for me. Got my orthotics "tuned-up". I have to have the fore-foot padding beefed up/replaced every 3 months or so. My foot doc says most of his patients need this about every 2 years. I say, probably has something to do with my 65 miles/week.
For you long time PF sufferers, this tidbit....saw a young running friend over the weekend home from grad school. She said she was just coming back from an injury - a stress fracture to the heel. It had been mis-diagnosed (and mis-treated) as PF for 3 months. Just a thought...
Enjoy your day folks.

What a drag, Vista. Take care.
Mary, nice pace!
Just some stretching and strength work today.
Congrats to the NYC marathoners who got in. Should be a great experience.
A beautiful morning on this side of the state, too. Low 60s, full sun with a slight breeze. Five miles in 45 with 6 striders.
Vista good news on your heart (and shoes) not so good on the running. Good luck.
Just 2 miles for me with Penny the Wonderdog. Faster pace though. A brisk 52 degrees today. Working up to my longest training day; 5 miles on Friday. Thanks for you inspiring long runs to give me motivation.
I'm up, wrfb.
morning boomers!
Pilates workout #3, + an ambitious schedule, but I went outside to start the sprinkler in the front yard before the sun hit it, & ended up doing 1 1/2 hrs. of yard work. This morning is too good to miss.
Sounds like you're feeling better, Mary. !http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/smile.gif|src=http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/smile.gif|border=0!
{{{ vista }}}..
Tramps, find your ammo?
Said I'd report... the concert was very wonderful. Of course, if you like that kind of thing. guy next to me kept looking at his watch. But it exceeded my expectations, & they were high.
nice run, Mark. see any animals? I think I saw your Baltimore Oriole (was that it?) Sunday. :-)
{{{ DaveAA's ankle }}}
eta, morning litefoot & penny! Nice run for you two. (what kind of wonderdog is she?) Nice to have you posting here.

Good morning all,
Healing vibes to {{{Vista129}}} and all those that need it.
7.06 miles of hills @ 9:14 pace (148AHR)...This was one of those reluctant runs that I really wasn't into this morning but got it done anyway. Followed with about 20 minutes of cooldown backstroke/breastroke laps in the pool.
Good runs to all today.

dg9 - Feeling a bit better, but not great - just can't NOT run for too long, ya know?? !http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/biggrin.gif|src=http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/biggrin.gif|border=0!

Joey, I know there are some other tests that can be run. Please keep at it until you find the answer. Hang in there. cj

LOL Mary, I was just about to post the same thing!! And....riley003 has some English Bulldogs that she needs to post too.
Vista, sorry they couldn't find anything, although I guess that is kind of a good thing, but nonetheless annoying that you can't run till they do. Keep us posted.

Aww, vista129 !http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/frown.gif|src=http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/frown.gif|border=0!. I hope you get some insight soon into what is going on. It's great that your heart is okay.
Vista, I wonder if your doctor would let you get a 64-slice CT scan before doing something invasive? <a href="http://www.runnersworld.com/article/0,7120,s6-241-28611336-0,00.html" target="_blank">http://www.runnersworld.com/article/0,7120,s6-241-28611336-0,00.html[/URL" target="_blank">
Mary, yeah, I know! Glad you had a good one.
Barb, I kind of thought you might.
How has this personal trainer thing worked out for you? I think about trying one, sometimes. Just short term, to tweak (a big hugh tweak) what I do.
