Cindy, that is a funny video.
I couldn't see econo's.
I like the drama of SS's.

Then clicked on the link and found the one where (I think) one of our boomers is reffing a soccer game. Is someone here a pro-fessional soccer ref?

5 miles along the marina, sailboats gliding, seabirds flying, maybe even an albatross.

I really hate the nights when I can't run. Can't sleep at all. Anyone else suffer from insomnia when they don't run? cj

Re: wed 22 aug boomer runs and deena fan club
Being gone away from home for two days gave me no opportunity to run at all since Sunday... so when I put my shoes on tonight, I knew I was going to go out and run to my heart's content. Since I was still at work I was able to run 9 miles on a rather flat route. Now the legs are tired, but the mind is so awake. What shall I do?

Tet. Thanks so much for those good links to Doris. It sure is an inspiration to see her with her runners. And very cool we shared the cross country course this evening. What a lovely, yes, even magical, evening it was -- runners, runners, everywhere, all sharing one passion at the lake. The young, the older, the local elite. How could anyone not want to be a runner seeing what I saw?

I loved this quote: "I?m not a valuable person because I ran fast, because I had a world record, but it helped me to have faith in myself so that I could go into other areas of life and put myself out on a scary edge."

Yes, I got the one with the 19" flat monitor. The box goes in my backpack with my work clothes, NEW running shoes, towel and running clothes, lunch and snacks. In order to get enough juice to run the system off of the generator connected to the front wheel, I have to maintain 37 mph. But I can stay connected to CR on my commute, and play Free Cell while I'm waiting for the pages to load and at red lights.
