Re: OK, Who is in for Grandma's Marathon?
I vote for a new Thread for this years race. I am getting excited to see my application come in the mail!!! Once again my goal for the Marathon is not to break any land speed records but my own. I think I have a 5:30 in me for this year if all goes better than last. Being that it is going to be my second marathon I thinkt this could be doable.

As for the price I am not sure where the price hike comes from. You would think that for as much as a hotel costs and the other money spent in the city the price could stay the same and maybe they could get some of the money from other sources like more of the local buisinesses making a killing off of us.

151 days!!!

After last years disappointment, I may come back just to exercise the deamons, but if I do - I am putting a mattress in the back of my truck I guess I have about 2 weeks to decide.

WI MTP - kinda stinks to have to commit so early, doesn't it?! Oh well, hopefully we'll get a few degrees cooler this year!

I already told my wife the mattress is going in the back of the van. I can't stand being fleeced another year. I planned to go to Fargo but achilles problems have pushed me back to Grandma's.

Hey all,

You probably already know this but you can stay in the UMD dorms for a very reasonable rate. If anybody has hotel rooms in canal park that end up deciding to cancel please email me, I'll take them. Thanks and good luck, I'll see you there!
