Anyone catch the Agassi play-by-play?

Was anyone lucky enough to follow the Roddick-Federer game last night on USA network? Good for you if you caught the game in person, but you missed some insightful and equally hilarious commentary by Andre Agassi. The dude is extremely articulate, and his insights into what go on behind the scenes and in the minds of players was very enlightening. He and McEnroe were like a modern day Laurel and Hardy. After McEnroe commented on how Ken Rosewall only sliced his backhand, Agassi replied: "I married somebody like that." Pure genius.

I didn't catch any of the match. But did you hear them comment on Federer's all black attire at all? I've seen quite a few comments regarding it around the web today...

It was great hearing Andre's perceptions on the game. From Boris Becker giving away which way he was going to serve by the direction his tongue was pointing in to Roddick's "engage primary weapon (serve) to "there is a fine line between being pumped up and waking a sleeping giant" comment his commentary was refreshing and upbeat. I actually get real tired of Ted Robinson's (baseball) comparison but that is the only thing the guy knows so can't fault him on that.

Darth Federer is looking great in all black. Too bad we won't see it again because it will be day matches from here on out.

"No question" (as Andre said last night) he was great to have as a commentator.

You can't dislike Fed. The guy is true class and a joy to watch. He is simply the best! Were watching history in the making and it would be awful if Jokeovic spoiled it.
