I ran for Umass amherst for like a day....trained all summer and was in kick *** shape...and then decided I was absolutely burnt out competition wise....took a couple months to bounce back from having a mental injury, but now for the first time I'm doing my own training, on my own time, and having a blast training for my first half marathon. In short, running without being on a team is really strange after 6 years of being "coached," but findiing your own inner drive and getting yourself out there everyday brings you to a totally new level.
