Re: MUSIC (what do you run to?)
Music is SO important to me when i am running. It can make the difference between whether or not i want to push it for another mile or not. For some reason I LOVE "Werwolves of London" by Warren Zevon. I listen to it on repeat a lot. It's funny, but i've never been much of a country music fan but my husband likes it and has downloaded a bunch of it. I actually kind of like some of it when i am running. "Mountain Music" by Alabama is great, for some reason it just makes me want to keep going. I just made another CD tonight, haven't tried it out yet but i think i'm gonna like it. It has "Under Pressure" by Queen/David Bowie, some stuff to get me in the mood for spring/baseball like Fogerty's "Centerfield", some John Mellencamp, and Traveling Wilbury's. Lots of random stuff, but i guess whatever works. I think it's always good to listen to anything positive that puts you in a good mood, ya know "feel good" music or stuff that reminds you of happy memories. It's good to switch it up frequently too or else you get really sick of the same stuff and wind up not wanting to listen to certain songs ever again. Good Luck finding the perfect tunes for your run!!!
