vermont is a great place to train, hills and dirt roads a-plenty. You should have a good time there. Definitely one of the best running states.....though I'm probably biased since i go to college up there

Re: Green Mountain Valley Running camp
Green Mountain Running Camp aka GMRC. I went last year and I'm going again this year, week 3 though. It was pretty awesome cause I went with some teammates who are also my best friends. Just to let you know, the first day is gonna suck cause you dont know anybody but as the week goes on it gets to be a real lot of fun. Have a good time, try to learn as much as you can while your there; take the classes that intrest you and pay attention to the lectures.

Re: Green Mountain Valley Running camp
For run1988 and other first weekers (this year)

Just wondering about your experiences / impression on your recent trip to Green Mountain Running Camp

You were fortunate to be going with 3 other team members. How about the person going by herself? Were they given the opportunity to "fit in"? Did the staff assist with this?

Runs: Were they well organized? Were you given the option to "move up" to faster running groups? Were you challenged?

Feedback: Were you given instructions on how to improve? Were they put into writing?

Parental Feedback: Any given?

Classes: Too many, too little?

Recreation: What was the most fun activity you participated in?

Accommodations: Clean / dirty?

Food: Blah / OK / Super?

Simply ... was it worth the $$$$.
