Im going to be a freshman at Virginia Tech this fall. I ran high school cross country and track this past year. Are you going to run for their varsity team this year? Just curious, cuz I'm taking a year or two to train solo, run some road races, maybe enter a few meets unattached and then I'm gonna see where I'm at and look into running cross country and track my sophomore or junior year for them. I've also done a little research and found there's a running club right in Blacksburg, very convenient if you ask me. I'm sure the university also has a cross country club. I guess I'd prefer my focus to be on getting adjusted to college life and doing well in my classes the first year or two and doing a varsity sport would probably interfere with that. Good luck this year whether you're running for the Terps or not.

Wow are you serious? I ALMOST went there. They were one of my top 3 schools but the money wasnt right. They have a great program. It's beautiful in Boone. Good luck

uhh..whoever'll admit me into their college! haha...yeah im gunna be a junior so i have a little while until i really have to start freaking out!

I'm at Newcastle University in Australia. We don't have an athletics club which sucks but I just run for the fun of it so I'm not too bothered. I'm hoping to try and establish some form of club in the near future.
