What are your crazy. Track is boring. And it's not evan for a couple of months. Focus on good winter training and then start to worry about what I am doing in track.

There is indoor track too.

I run the mile and the two mile. They are the best events for those who are coming off of cross country as is the 800.

Re: What are your events in track?
I'm in the 3200 and 1600, like most cc runners, but i'll probably run a few 800's for the training.

Re: What are your events in track?
Steeple and the 5k however this winter/spring I'm dropping down a little bit and doing the 600-1000-1500. Into summer track I'll either move back up to 1500/5k or stick with the 8/15 combo. Just not 100% sure yet.

I'm 97.4% sure that I'm not running track this spring...

But hey. Ya never know...that 2.6% could really change things...

Re: What are your events in track?
indoor I run the 600m (for fun, I suck at it but the coachs don't care if I run it) the 1600m and the 4x800 B team.

Outdoor I do the 800m and the 1600m.

Re: What are your events in track?
back in the day i was a short-middle man, despite favoring XC considerably to track. Mainly 1500-800 outdoor, and the infamous 1k indoor, plus any relay of any kind whenever I got the chance. Think I turned about 2:07 for the 8 and 2:48 for the K.

invariably, I always here numerous posts about those 'hardy' souls who dabble in the 3200-1600-800-4x8 every meet and would do every event if the schedule allowed it. I sincerely hope whoever does this is doing it purely as a workout, otherwise you'll be cooked after about a month and sincerely hate your life. Kudos to RI for their rule against this.
