why didn't she sign her name instead of writing "your neighbors"? are you the only neighbors? do they know its from you? its kind of like creating a puppet just to criticize someone here. nothing admirable about that, IMHO.

I don't believe you, not for a second. If you didn't care what people thought you wouldn't make animals or be a foster parent, you'd be an arse to everyone and care only for yourself.

But I do those things cause it makes me feel good and is the right thing to do. Ask Mini, she's known me for a long time now. I think I'm an OK guy, but I really don't care what people think of me. If someone thinks I'm a jerk, it doesn't keep me awake at night.

So, what time will she bringing the free barrel by the house?

Personally I don't think it was a nice thing to do....it's not how I would have acted in that situation...if it was a one time deal, why not just go out and help him pick up the trash?

If it wasn't the first time he has done that then, I don't think there is really anything wrong with it. I honestly cannot imagine ever leaving garbage out that long, or in just a bag, or not picking up the mess asap. Those are things that jerky neighbors do!

Maybe he just found out he has cancer or he had to put a beloved pet down or he has financial troubles on him mind. Maybe he simply wasn't thinking clearly. Why ostracize him and make him feel like an a$$hole over something so inconsequential?

Heh, I hate it when all of that happens, repeatedly... At least now he doesn't have to worry about getting a can, his nice neighbor bought him one! That's pretty thoughtful if you ask me!

Then it should have been presented to him in a thoughtful manner...in person or with a thoughtful note...it wasn't presented in a thoughtful manner it was presented in a spiteful manner.

He has none of the above. His dog routinely sh1ts in my yard. He went to work yesterday and the neighborhood know it all hasn't said anything about cancer.

We live on a nice little street. It's clean and the yards ar pretty well kept. His trash is gross and I don't want to drive past it or pick it up.

If he did it once, twice I would have let it go, and I have. This was the straw that broke the camals back.

Just curious - whose cats got into the trash? Yours, the neighbor's or just some neighborhood cats? In my county (and in yours too, I suspect) dogs aren't allowed to roam off-leash because they get into 1) traffic, 2) people, and 3) trash. I wonder if leash laws apply to cats too. Sometimes I wish they did.

I am not saying that your neighbor should have put his trash out 2 days early, btw.

HIS cat and probably the other strays in the area. His old dog and cat are always loose. The dog is fine, he is very old and friendly and rarely leaves the front yard. (Except when he needs to poop, then he makes it to my yard. That's fine, I pick it up when I pick up my dogs droppings.)
