Re: Best US Tennis Players...
Best U.S. tennis players? I'd have to say Andy Roddick on the men's side, with Blake coming in a close second. Keep an eye on the newcomer, John Isner (http://www.active.com/tennis/Articles/A_New_American_Hero.htm). His height is both for and against him. He has a blazing serve that crashes down on his opponents from his 6-foot-9 frame. Disadvantage, he's a little slow on the court. Crowds love him, though, and he's helping to boost the American tennis scene.

On the women's side, the Williams sisters are amazing. They've been hindered by injuries as of late (and bad attitude at times http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/tennis/usopen07/news/story?id=3004964), but they're still a force to contend with on the courts.

When watching ESPN, keep an eye on the Serbian trifecta: Novak Djokovic, Jelena Jankovic and Ana Ivanovic. These three have emerged from a war-torn country with the skills and desire to be the best...(http://www.active.com/tennis/Articles/Tennis_Becoming_Serbia_s_Best_Export.htm)

Sam Querry, John Isner, and Donald Young are players to look out for as well.
