Icedog. I met him at the world run day half marathon. Mo (his wife) was terminal with cancer by then. I was injured and finished 10 minutes behind him so I never got to meet her. He is a corrections officer and used to be an amatuer boxer.

jrjo. He used to be a regular at the other place. Earlier this year he got smashed in a motorcycle accident. He is up and around but may never run again. He is the race director for a 12k his club puts on. I either run it or crew a water station. He owns the car Harrison Ford used in the movie "Witness".

Laloba. Not sure where she was from. I played a few games of chess online with her. She started the PMS thread.<HR>

This will probably get lost somewhere in this thread - that's fine.

I've never met any of you and perhaps there aren't very many here that know anything about me - having been a semi-lurker for the past 6 years.

You have been like a family to me. I became a bigger person because of you. You've shaped my beliefs, helped me consider things perhaps I wouldn't have thought of otherwise.
I've watched many of you marry, have kids, divorce, go to college, run your first marathons.

If this is the end it will be sad - and I will miss you all.
