My personal favorite was the soup thread.

But there were many, and it depends on what you mean by "best."

I don't know about the 'best' thread, but have you ever checked out 'Best of the Clubhouse' under the archives?

Among others there are threads in there from September 11th, when the attacks were actually happening. Kind of eerie to read them.

Just as eerie are the old RobinTara threads.

kerf's right, but who was the guy who had a BQ at Myrtle Beach Marathon by taking a "shortcut"?.

He was full of guilt and came in here looking for sympathy.

Oh boy...lapse in judgement.
