Got my nerve conduction test

After much zapping and twitching I can officially announce itwas the ulnar nerve that was dammaged.

Apparantly, my right hand's ulnar nerve computed a 7 when zapped. My injured hand only registered a 2. I have no clue what 7 and 2 means, but he showed me the results page.

He then stuck some needles in my arm and hand and listened to my muscles. I didn't know muscles could talk. They spoke in a whooshing/******* type of sound.

He said good news is my nerve is no longer compressed and I'm healing. Bad news is he still won't let me bike.

He also gave me a perscription for occupational therapy.

I think this means I'm stuck on the trainer for a while more, but I'm going to ride on the Silver Comet where I don't need to use my left hand gear and stay in aero when possible.

I didn't understand any of that, but it sounds like pretty good news. How long do they expect you'll have to stay off the road?
