Who is racing this weekend?

I am doing Danskin with my 2 sisters in law and 2 girl friends........

MOJO to all racers. I had to bag my race last night because of two very sick little DDs who are doing much better today. Thanks to everyone who had them in their thoughts.

I'm doing a HM tomorrow. Due to injury I haven't really been able to train for it. Only real goal is to not finish DFL. Son #1 (14yo) will also be doing the 5K. Bugger hasn't really run since we raced against each other earlier this month. No doubt he'll smoke the course anyway...

Clark Lake Tri (.5mi/13mi/4mi) with Jane, Yoshiko and Charlotte (doing the du).

Luna Sprint for me tomorrow, B race but flat so I think I'll go all out on the bike.

BrewDad is losing hs tri virginity on Sunday in a Tri-It race. He tried out his wetsuit rental yesterday and wants to know if he can always swim with one.

Yep, I'm doing my first tri this Sunday after Hobey races Saturday. I have to say that I loooove swimming in a wetsuit. I swam 30 seconds per 100m faster in the pool yesterday with about 2/3rds the effort. I think I actually stayed in my aerobic zones for an entire swim workout.

It was a great confidence booster. So long as I don't swallow a ton of water and panic, and if I can swim a reasonably decent line, I think I might actually make it out of the water under my own power. My goal is then to mash the bike and give the run whatever I have left.

MOJO to everyone racing.

I'm doing danskin webster on a severe lack of swim training.
My plan is to make it out of the water in around 15 minutes... bike around 40-43 minutes and kill the run with everything I have left. Hopefully sub 22.

Yes indeed. A double, of sorts. I have a short race tomorrow, which I WON'T actually be racing. It's a local 5k. The entry fee goes toward a very good cause, so I hate to not participate. But I'm saving my racing legs for Sunday (I hope

). Sprint tri/du. It is my multisport clubs' main event. Even more fun will be seeing Jane and Yoshiko and meeting Spartygirl for the first time WooT! I'm looking forward to it.

Mojo to all racers this weekend!! Let's go out there and race well and have some fun!

Is this going to be the LARGEST gathering of MS posters at a race??!?!
It will be a hot/humid day.... I was cleaning my BQ just a few hours ago and noticed my sweat was dripping on the ground... No I wasn't trying to replace a tube.

Won't know for sure until tomorrow around noon, but hopefully (and finally! me. I'm heading down toward San Diego for the Solana Beach tri, but online registration closed early, so I won't be sure of getting one of the last 100 slots or so until the pre-race check in. If I don't get in, I'll volunteer. With a little luck, I'll spot runnerparis on her sweet new Cervelo and maybe even get in a little swim with runnerbee.
