Re: Livestrong bracelet
It is not necessarily only with triathletes, but with anyone wanting to show support for cancer issues.

It is associated with cyclists and triathletes, because of the kinship with Lance Armstrong. But, I have seen many people, from all walks of life, sporting the yellow band.

I do not wear mine as much as I used to, but I will for races and sporting events where I need a little inspiration.

Ugh, that comment reminded me of my sophomore year of college statistics course. I had this Belgian professor who barely spoke English trying to teach us about variance, standard deviation, chi square, blah, blah, blah.

Alright, done hijacking.

Re: Livestrong bracelet
You know what drives me nuts? When I see a person wearing one of these "Livestrong" bracelets with a stupid cigarette sticking out of their mouth. Almost makes me not want to wear mine anymore. And also, back when they were a big craze a few years back. There were people selling these bracelets on street corners here where I live, making a profit above what they bought them for...I don't think that's what Lance had intended.
