IM KY Tracking

CC has Nina Kraft Nervous!!! Wooot!

Kraft rushes out of T1
RACETIME: 00:53

Nina Kraft has been looking over her shoulder ever since she came out of the water -- she was doing the same as she jumped on her bike to start the second leg of the race.

Sharpless looked much more at ease -- she was about 10 seconds behind.

Kraft and Sharpless lead the way ...
RACETIME: 00:48

The two women are right next to each other as they head into T1.

IM "KY"? Gee, when you put it that way, it sounds like this should be the IM for tithers. (Sorry, T, can't resist an "Aisle Five" callback. )

Go Carole! Go Lauren!

Hey-just looking at the female swim times...is this supposed to be a fast swim? IE-I looked at the map...I see they go around an island then straight down the river.

Is the current strong?

Sounds like Carole may be nursing a stress fracture out there.

This from this from IronmanLive.com

"Carole Sharpless appears to be struggling out on the bike course. It's reported that she has a stress fracture, so there was some doubt as to whether or not she'll be able to finish the run here today."

Leaderboard has her in third...

Take care of yourself out there, CC!

Today is the most depressing day of my life.

I should be out there racing.

Go Lauren.

First, {{{{sheldon}}}}. Sitting out a race due to injury is truly heartbreaking.

That said, if today is really the most depressing day of your life, you are a lucky, lucky man. (Though I know it won't feel that way until at least Thursday. Or, maybe not even until you totally kick butt at Miami Man!

Once again I am upset with IM's coverage of this race. They should be able to have better timing.

Alas, I'll take what I can get.
