Re: Anyone else racing this coming weekend?
Next weekend will be my (probably) last multi-sport race for the year. A sprint tri, conveniently located less than 3 miles from my house and routed on many of the same roads I train on. Should be fun!

Re: Anyone else racing this coming weekend?
Sprint Tri for me next Sunday with 500 yard pool swim! Should be great fun for me and especially on my new road bike.

I also found out about a duathlon series this winter, aptly called Chilly Cheeks that sounds like some fun and is very nearby my house at the state park where my first tri was held. Surely, something to think about.

Good luck to all for "end of the season" tris coming up.

Oly+ on Sunday. May or may not be my last of the season. We'll see how I feel on Monday.

Wow...it's depressing to hear "last of the season" races.

IMFL 2 months from today...if we are talking about numeric #s on the calendar!

Lots more training for Meeeeeeeeeee!

****...it's monday and I'm already TIRED!

Have a great race Ice Creamy!

Did you ever work out your bra chaffing issues? I replied to the thread a while back about how I solved it on the other thread...

HIM for me on Saturday. My first of the distance too IceCream I feel more tired so far during this taper week than I have during training. What's up with that?

Good luck all you other racers!

Re: Anyone else racing this coming weekend?
I did my last of the season yesterday, but I'm kind of glad. 4 tris in my first season sounded like a good number. When I tell people I only did 4, they look at me like I'm crazy. Next year, I plan to start earlier and end later, doing 6-8 tris in the season. I want to complete the Texas Tri Series which means 6 out of 7 plus the Danskin, if I decide to do it and any other race I want to do that is not in the series. Now I can rest some before starting my HM training. I will continue to swim and bike, though for my cross-training. I think it will really help.

I've got my next-to-last tri this Sat. in Hilton Head, SC. It's a sprint that I manage to never miss.
