Virtual Ironman - IMOOOOOO Edition...

It looks like we have two folks toeing the line at IM Wisconsin this weekend. IrisMdsn (Bib #1991... Jamie's first time at the iron distance) and Steve (Bib #1600... Steve's 2nd time at IMWI). That comes out to:

Swim - 4.8 Miles
Bike - 224 Miles
Run - 52.4 Miles

So what's on your slate for the weekend folks? Since it's late in the season, we may as well play it safe and take pledges from both Saturday & Sunday. I'm unfortunately on the disabled list (big fookin' waves messed up my neck), so I may only be of use tracking miles.

Post your pledged miles here, then on the weekend, I'll start another thread to track completed miles.

Put me down for 1mi swim, 22.3mi bike, 6.2mi run + hopefully another 15mi bike. This all assumes my knee holds out.

I will be swimming 3.1 miles Saturday. So put me down for the swim. Great Illini is next weekend so all I am going to do is swim and then rest. I need it.

Saturday - 1 mile swim, 7 mile run
Sunday - 25-ish mile ride

Sat-depending on HR...about 90ish miles bike. Run 3-4

Sun-Run 2 hours...who knows what that will calculate to...last week I ran at Sheldon's HR and I was doing $hitty 14+mm...Tuesday I did a killer trainer workout and ran 4 miles @ slightly lower HR with sub 11:30 average...

Bike an hour after...easy-maybe 15?

Swim is iffy...it would be as a cooldown...not complete workout...

Racing on Sunday so put me down for 1.5 mile swim, 18 mile bike, 8 mile run.

I will be sitting on planes or waiting in airports from 2am IMMoo time until 9pm IMMoo time. Then driving 3 hours to Madison for Monday sign-up. No, that is not the sole purpose of my trip. Just happened to coincide with a business trip.

I can commit to two beers and enough caffeine to power a run course aid station.

Because I'm building up for SOMA, put me down for :

-4,000 swim (open H20 gotta test my new wetsuit)
-100 mile bike (enchanted circle century saturday)
-13.1 Mile Run (chips'n Salsa 1/2 m, sunday)

I will throw in 20 miles on the bike and 8 miles running

You can also add in a couple of beers - probably Italian lagers this weekend (My beer choice often depend on who I am with )

I will swim .8 mile bike 70 miles and run 2.5 on Saturday. On Sunday I will run 18 miles.

I'm in for 9 mile run. I might do some biking on Saturday too, but I'm not sure yet.

Saturday is likely a day off as I'm racing a sprint Sunday morning... put me down for at least the 1/4m swim, 11.8m bike, and 3.1m run. The Patriots open the season at 1PM Sunday, so I'm good for several beers worth of liquid carbo-reload during that as well.
