Re: Workouts - Tuesday, Oct 9 - Guerillas!
went for a swim this morning to tri out my new strokes. I counted 14 just like they did on sunday and i timed myself as best i could.100 yards in 2 minutes8 seconds .Did more drills and more swimming now i just need to practice counting laps.

i was planning a ride this afternoon but it looked like rain so i took a nap. its one of the perks of being on vacation.

We got a surprise storm here this afternoon. I was going to pick up some green beans or something for a side for dinner-but with the down pours and lightening...I went home. Only hydroplaned once.

So, after dinner I did the **** tuesday workout. It wasn't toooooo bad.

Beautiful day, about 20F lower than yesterday. Tomorrow, another 18F or so lower than today. So I decided to enjoy the sun on a bike. Later I swum for about hour, lots of drills. Feels very 'fragmented' in water these days. Maybe it is natural to feel this way at the beginning of trying new things/changing your strokes.

Re: Workouts - Tuesday, Oct 9 - Guerillas!
5 mile run for me tonight. Before heading out, I caught the end of Carpoolers where they were singing "Come on Eileen," so I ended up with that in my head for the entire run. Luckily, it had a decent tempo, so I think it helped my turnover and pace. And it was MUCH better than that horrific four our five hour long run where I had the theme from Dirty Dancing (I've had the time of my life) stuck on an endless loop in my brain.

Happy workouts, all! Hang in there, Matt! Hopefully, you'll get some breathing room after the 15th!
