Re: My first Half Iron is in one week
They won't measure until Saturday, but I imagine it will be. It has been super hot all fall, but we finally had our first front blow in Monday and there are a few nights in the 40's predicted in that area. I swam on Sunday and I think they said the temp was around 80 then. The air temps aren't supposed to even reach 80 there this week, so I'm thinking the temp will drop the 2 degrees that we need it to. I also think most RD's have a magical thermometer and will use it as long as it isn't 90 degrees outside.

Re: My first Half Iron is in one week
Good going on that solid training ... we knew you'd be ready ... in fact you're more than ready! Here's hoping that your back will be 100% by race day, but if not, it sounds like you will have the mental toughness to get past this glitch and still finish in fine fashion.

Have fun.

Sally
