Hmm... well, I doubt it's the MLT's (Mutton Lettuce, and Tomato sandwich) little known cousin the Bacon, Snake, Lettuce, and Tomato Sandwich. So I'm guessing the Buffalo Springs Lake Triathlon[/URL" target="_blank">. Of course I had to cheat and look at the 70.3 qualifiers to make a decent guess.
Edited to add.... good luck, Adam! !http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/smile.gif|src=http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/smile.gif|border=0!

What an amazing WOMAN you are!
To complete an IM is AMAZING
To qualify for Kona is WICKED AWESOME
To train for Kona when you are sick and recovering is just WICKED AWESOME and AMAZING
To finally get there, deal with the stomach issues and tough conditions is I guess "doing a SANDERS".....LOL...remember when we used to call a huge PR doing a "Ronbo"......that's you Jane....from now on when someone around here does something amazing....we'll say, "now that's doing a SANDERS!!!".
Super congrats and I can't wait for the pictures....I want to be you when I grow up!
wow... Awesome and amazing don't begin to describe it!! I am so incredibly impressed with IM athletes and YOU! What a nice report on a well done race. Sorry to hear about the stomach issues, but it sounds like you overcame nicely and had a great time in Hawaii too! Thanks so much for sharing. You have alot to be proud of!
Freakin awesome Jane, freakin awesome. Sorry to hear about the stupid stomache problems. Maybe next time try some GasX? Glad it finally went away!
Congrats on the finish and still having a very respectable time. Remember, you were concerned about RUNNING again let alone KONA.... less than a year ago.
Scott may have lost both legs, which is amazing, but you lost what - 50% of your abs and built yourself back in less than a year... that is truly a "sanders" !http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/wink.gif|src=http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/wink.gif|border=0!
Awesome Jane! It was so incredibly hot that day and to finish was an incredible achievement.
I don't know how I managed to miss you, but I didn't see you all day . We were on the hill on Alii Drive outside our condo on the early part of the run, then we went out on our bikes on the run course. Nope, still missed you! Looking at the times, I suspect that we were heading out on the run course on our bikes when you were heading out Alii Drive.
We stayed out at the Energy Lab as long as we could, but we didn't have lights on the bikes and our crew were heading in to finish at the 11-12 hour mark so it was time to get back.
I'll have to look for you again next year!

That was an awesome report Jane! Belated congrats! I have heard so many great stories from the event from people I work with but I hadn't read a race report on it so I typed it into the search and I'm trilled with what I found.
My sister is going to Hawaii for two weeks on her honeymoon on Friday and I wanted to see if you had any restaurant recommendations, things to do or must see places. Hopefully they will have good weather. If you or anyone else on have any recommendations I would love to pass them along to her. Thanks a bunch!
