Re: Workouts - Tuesday, Nov 20 - Hubble
5-mile run this morning with Kathy in the cool drizzle. Was going to try to swim at lunch, but work got in the way. I just need to get through the rest of today and tomorrow morning, then a long weekend filled with good friends, food and beverages.

Glad you made it out to run LRR - that's improvement.

4BM - hope that it's nothing. We're all thinking about you.

Re: Workouts - Tuesday, Nov 20 - Hubble
I guess i keep doing catch-up posts
sunday mid-day ow swim @ 2/12 miles with a dolphin teasing me every time I'd point him out to fellow swimmers, he'd duck under everyone heard him though
Monday 1 mileish ow swim with very cool foggy conditions
Tuesday longer but otherwise the same. I'd go to a gym for the eliptical (day 2 in my scheudle of elliptical work) but my car is in the shop and I may not be able to squeeze it in.

4M ramble during lunch. Putting all the negative calories in the bank in preparation for feasting.

6 mile recovery run in the pre-dawn hours. Took the new bike for 16 mile spin while DS was at preschool. Nice ride. I gained about 2mph just by getting a real bike. (Maybe more as the crosswinds were a b---- today).

I'm pretty sure that she's a he.

Re: Workouts - Tuesday, Nov 20 - Hubble
Workout didn't happen. Spent all evening downtown ATL picking up a race packet and then got new runners on the way back.

I AM PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE I AM THE OWNER OF RED SHOES...the 2120s in red. I never owned any shoe besides BLUE! They showed me the 2130s in BLUE...I said I know there is red out there! I got the last pair in my size!

Praise Jeebus!

Oh, then I spent like 2 hours stuck in traffic trying to get home I got home AFTER 8PM!

Better now than in May.

Bike commute today followed by a crisp 4.5 mile run. Annoying high 30's for temperature. I always struggle to dress correctly. Somewhere between cold and cool. Last night I was a little chilled for most of the run.

Re: Workouts - Tuesday, Nov 20 - Hubble
It was cool last night, but I did some intervals with my crazy German running friends. A nice easy warm-up, 8x400m (77-82 secs/400), with 200m rest (100 walk, 100 jog), and then a goofy long, easy cool-down. My friend may be crazy, but they're a pleasure to run with! I'll probably run one more "Winter-Series" race before heading back to Canada for Christmas.

Re: Workouts - Tuesday, Nov 20 - Hubble
About 8km in the OC6. At the coaching course they told us to put new people in seat 2 instead of seat 5. I'm not convinced this is a good idea! Oh, and nearly crashed into a bridge - told my novice steerer she would be fine to go under the bridge - oops! And I was sitting in the middle of the boat where I could do nothing to help.

Cooled off by flipping the boat upside down and righting it with only two of us. Turns out our new boat is much easier to right than our old one.
