Workouts - Wednesday, Nov 21 - Full Moon

On this day in 1995, Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong was arrested and fined $141 for dropping his pants at a concert in Milwaukee, WI. {www.on-this-day.com}

Seems like a bargain. I plan to hit the gym at lunch time - undecided between pedaling and elipticating. Will then likely make a hasty exit for home to begin the overindulgence.

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right. I hope you had the time of your life tri-peeps!

What is it with guys and getting naked?

Not much for me today. I'm only working a half day, and can barely keep my mind focused for that. Then, preparing for the busy weekend of guests. We may even get our Christmas tree this weekend. Whoo hoo - bring on the holidays!

Re: Workouts - Wednesday, Nov 21 - Full Moon
I LOVE Green Day, but interestingly enough, I may be among only a small gathering who likes modern day Green Day over their old stuff. I like their old stuff, but I really like their newer stuff -- newer as in their last 4 albums.

Beth: Listening to your holiday plans and knowing about your house reminds me of sitting by a crackling fire with hands wrapped around a mug of hot cocoa with five splashes and an extra to be sure of Baileys. Enjoy.

Me...

4 mile scamper about town. Found new route from my new home. Was probably more like 5 miles but I'll call it 4.

Might hop on the bike at noon for a very easy ride if the temperature gets out of the 30's. Otherwise I'll milk the downtime for another week or more.

Drop your drawers and show us your goods, Tri-flashers!

And by the way, happy 'Say Hello to a Stranger Day'!

Re: Workouts - Wednesday, Nov 21 - Full Moon
Swim early this morning. Thought it was a decent workout. Still working on form. Actually got some body rotation. Finished in 60min even, feeling pretty good about it. Then I looked at the schedule and realized coach had me down for 40mins for this workout......

Then a run. Nuthin' in the tank. Physically tired from not enough sleep and worrying myself sick. 4.65m, 40:28, 8:42pace. Way too much in z4. Goal 'thon pace is 8:40-8:45. Not a clue how I'm gonna get it done.

Safe travels and have a great Thanksgiving!

Hang tough 4Boys, it will all work out in the end.

Bike commute for me today, both directions in order to avoid insane T-Day traffic. 33F when I left the house an hour ago. Aside from a few numb toes I was actually quite toasty. Had to stop twice to replace ultra-warm gear with luke-warm gear. Perfect!

Show us your turkeys Peeps!

3.75 mile run. I upped the pace and it felt really good. I think i can say i am no longer injured and can start slowly adding mileage again. Which is good because i am going to run the santa cruz half marathon on april 13th.

I like the new stuff too. My son is a music addict. I remember him telling me he has actually met these guys, and they (or at least one of them) play in a different band, with a different name, in smaller clubs just so they can do thier own thing. I think he referred to it as "non-corperate" stuff.

When my son was younger, his band got booted out of a teen center because the lead singer dropped his pants..

60 mile bike ride for me today...in preparation for the extra calories tomorrow.

ANOTHER day robbed of a run. 4:30am up and off to work, fighting with contractors to get my place done. Ug. Too little time, too much money, and many fun things of that sort.

Followed by 6 hour drive to inlaws

Hey. No workout...too much to do...bloodwork AM...shopping...baking (in charge of dessert for "coach jim's" Thanksgiving Feast...

So. I baked.

Thor-I HEART greenday. Even more...Fall Out Boy is my fave!

I do have pics of me in my undies...but y'all don't want to see them.

Ronbo. 6 HOURS? I hope you get to spend Christmas at home!

Half mari in the morning. Cold. Rain. Sheldawg told me to take it easy! So. Like the obedient student I USUALLY am...I will. I think
