Morning all ~~ Ok, I've come up with a plan to get a pic of Rontell. I told him that I'm creating a journal of my weight loss journey and I want to include pics of the people that have helped me along the way. He said ok, but that he is not responsible for my success (awww). I reminded him that he is in deed responsible for kicking my tush two times a week and that it has made a huge difference. Anyway, I go on. I have also decided that I will get the pic when I am under 170 (which is about 3 pounds from here). Don't know why other than it will be some kind of incentive.

Now, on to running... I ran last night 2 very difficult miles. I did the first half of my 4 planned miles and when I crossed back over by my house I decided to stop. It was fairly windy and although I sometimes think that I'm a machine or something, my legs were sore, very sore so I ended it there. I will try to do some tonight though, maybe 2 more. I made a goal of running 16 miles a week (maybe someday I'll be running miles like Mary) but for now this is where I'll be starting. So, this week I have 10 done so far.

Michele When I post the pic of Rontell I'll post one of me in my Belly dancing attire. Now remember, it is not really a belly dancing costume - although I am seriously thinking of getting one - Nice job on running two days in a row!!!!!!!!!

Michelle I think organizing a run/fund raiser to stop violence in the memory of your Mom is absolutely, totally wonderful and amazing!!!!!!!!! Way to go on your run too. I just bought a running jacket that has reflective material down the back and around the neck. It also has little mitten ends on the arms so that I can tuck my hands in when I start out and then if I get warm just fold them back - I think it's pretty cool.

Mary, Sarah, Gen, Melanie, Lindsey, Wine, and anyone I may have missed Hope all is well for you today.

Morning guys....I'm home today. I woke up at 4 a.m. with some AWFUL cramping in my stomach so I don't know what's going on. I still had sick days left so I figured I might as well use one. I think I'm ok now but I'm scared to go into work (an hour away) and get sick again....that wouldn't be good. So not sure if I'll run today or not. Maybe I just ate something that didn't agree with me.
Michelle That's a GREAT idea to organize a run, I just told my mom a couple weeks ago that since this Xcountry thing doesn't seem to be working out at our school maybe I would try and organize a run for domestic abuse. But I don't even know where to start! Maybe I could organize a branch run here! We'll get this thing international so pieces of s*** like that know that we're not going to take it anymore!!!!!
Michele Rocking on with the workouts!!!! You're doing great! So far major strict eating is working for me. I'm down 3.5 lbs this week. At this rate I'll be at goal in no time. It's the holidays that are going to be tough! I've already told myself that on Thanksgiving I'm eating whatever I want but I will go for a long run that morning. Hopefully they don't have snow at home then!
Ok...I'm going to lay back down. The Lake House is on and I want to watch the whole thing this time. I've seen bits and pieces before.

Hi - Lisa the lurker here. I do WW CORE plan and have run two slow 5ks, starting with the C25K plan. I have downloaded the training calendar from the PBS Nova Marathon special - not aiming for a marathon but it is a good schedule- and free!

Anyway, Michelle - where did you get that jacket with the mittens and reflective stripe?

Besides the price difference, can someone tell me the huge difference between the forerunner 205 & 305? I am really considering getting one in the US as long as I know it works here too....I looked online ( garmine.com) and other than the heartrate function, I didn't see the big difference....

Good morning all!

This morning was no workout just an interview. I really want this job. This was the third and final interview. The company should be making a decision in about an hour?.now this does not mean I will know by then but I could. I will let you all know when I find out, it will defiantly be by tomorrow afternoon.

Just for the record? I am not pregnant!!!! yet

Monnier- nice run! Lots of running for the weekend? Maybe a bike ride?

Michelle- after all this happened with your mom I was thinking that all of us on the board could run in our local Stop the Violence run in honor of your mother. While we may not all be able to go to Germany or NY we can do our part and support the local run.

Cherrie- nice plan on getting a picture of Rontell.

Melanie- Stay home. Go buy Love Actually and watch it, again.

Lisa- Nice to have you? I know that I have found a mitten shirt at my local running store?.

A picture of my princess from last night? she had a great time?

Please look at this link... it has a picture of the only man I would ever leave my husband for... I will find more pictures but this is one with his shirt off. The problem with leaving my Dh for this guy... he only speaks Italian... however, he does have a translator.

The article is pretty funny but the picture is what counts!

Cherrie- for your viewing pleasure?. http://www.flickr.com/photos/smilingjon/258185332/[/URL" target="_blank"> (no clue who the fully shirted guy is)

About this guy. He is/was the biggest showboater in cycling. He is known as the Lion King. He had paid MANY fines for wearing a skin suit that looks like a lion during time trials. He is a sprinter in the cycling world and one of the best ever. Is other job? model. In 2002 he was crowned the World Champion, however, he and his team were not invited to the Tour de France in 2003. At the time he was riding and sponsored by Specialized bikes. The most powerful ad I had seen in a long time was a double page in every cycling magazine at the time and it was the World Champion band (as a world champion you get a special band of colors on your uniform) in the background a picture of him in the lower right corner with his head down and underneath it said "I am humbled" and then the specialized logo. This was a display to all the fans and professional cyclists alike that stood up to the Tour directors and fought for him to be invited to the tour. Lance Armstrong went to the directors himself and made a statement saying that he could not "win" the Tour with out beating the world champion.

Ok, one more funny story about Mario and then I will go back to being his silent stalker (he,he). My friend Sally was at a bike show in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago. The first person she saw when she got there was him. She walked up to him and said, giggling the whole time, "You are by far the most beautiful man I have ever seen" He, speaking not much English, grabbed his translator and she repeated herself to the translator. He promptly smiled, picked her up (she is 4'10, he is 6'3) and gave her a huge hug and a kiss, set her down and posed for many a pictures.

There are my Mario stories? I am bored today can you tell?

CHKBOXER AND MICHELLE - thanks for the help on the shirt. This thread seems good for me - WW and running without the nastiness on some of the WW boards...
Getting psyched for my 2.5 run after work today, despite a sore hip. Following August schedule from the PBS/Nova marathon training calender. - Lisa

(Can't figure out how to bold your names....)
