Hi All - We've been down here in Monterey/Carmel since yesterday and have been enjoying the scenery. Ate dinner last night at a really neat little place in Carmel called "Casanova Restaurant." (Cripes, was it expensive, but oh so good!) Anyway, our waiter told us he read in the paper that 5,000 people are suppose to be participating in the HM tomorrow. What?!?

I had absolutely no idea it was that big. Holy cow! Needless to say, we were at the expo as soon as it opened so I could get my bib number (6001), etc., and get the puck outta there. Spend a few hours visiting the Aquarium and walking around Monterey. Now we're being veggies and relaxing.
My hub's been pretty funny all weekend, telling me, "This weekend's all about you, hon. Whatever you want to do. Take advantage of it, 'cause that's rarely the case." Always the jokester.

Welcome to the new folks, welcome back to Jewels. Tam, wherever you are in your adventure, I know you're kickin' butt and takin' names!
Later!
