I found that without a schedule to follow when I finished the C25k I fell off track really fast and am just getting into running again now after a couple months off. My endurance is still about the same, but my pace definitely suffered for it. I did the C25k for distance rather than time, so I didn't like the feel of OHR, running for an hour wasn't really a challenge or a goal. Recognizing that I need a schedule to keep myself on track I found a 10k training plan that I like (I think its the Hal Higdon Novice), it mixes up the distances, throws in some cross training and keeps me on the distance mindset rather than running for time. I thought about the Spring Training, they are very similar in the distances you run and are both 12 weeks long, but personally it's dark and cold while I'm running and the three days in a row of running during the week just isn't doable for me. The 10k plan has more flexibility to it.
Really though its a personal decision, I don't know that I would jump straight to the half-marathon distance though.
