Good Morning!

I hope everyone had a great long weekend.

I got in 5 miles this morning in nice 50F temps, slight rain just starting as I finished. Perfect! Now I'm seriously tapering for the 50 miler this Saturday.

It doesn't mater whether you're a lion or an antelope - when the sun comes up, you'd better be running."

Good Morning Kevin! Nice 5 miles this morning - can't believe your 50 miler is this Saturday already. Taper madness begins . . . .

Absolutely perfect morning - 30 degrees, clear sky with the brighest stars twinkling and nary a car in site. The only sound breaking through the crisp air was the panting of Brinkley and yes, sometimes myself!

Scheduled 5 miler turned into 6 magical miles - 9:35 pace.
300 crunches to top it off.

Cheers!

Good Morning Gang,

I know, I know, I've been mia forever. The boss got his change of command done and then I was looking for a job. On 4 December, I'll be starting work at the Pentagon. Back to DC I go. I'm excited yet nervous at the same time because I've been working for the same person for 4 years. But change is good right? I leave Thursday to go home to Iowa. I finally get to run the dogs on pheasants. Yay!!

Kevin - Great run to you this morning. I'll be up on the 1st, can we do dinner or something?

Happy Hump Day!!

Heehee, I'm running yes, not near the mileage of normal though.

Mary - Great run and an awesome pace. Wish me luck, this will be our first time out on live pheasant and quail. They did awesome on dove.

Good morning, PDPers

Kevin Nice 5 miler and good luck with your taper this week. And my weekend was the same length as usual--no day off for me.

Mary Great job on the 6 miler.

Troy Nice to see you. Good luck with your upcoming posting change.

No run for me today or yesterday as I have a non-running ailment plaguing me and running would irritate it too much. Did get in 4.4 and 14.4 mile runs over the weekend, though.

Happy Tuesday,
John

Troy - GOOD LUCK! They will do great I'm sure. My DH had the dogs out woodcock & quail hunting a couple of weeks ago and they did great - think he brought home 5 of them. Crazy dogs just love that stuff.

Good luck on your new adventure at the Pentagon too! I hope you and Kevin get together as planned!
