Pre-Dawn Patrol - Thurs. 11/15

Morning!

Last night my DH went out with his new bow for one last ditch effort to shoot a deer with it this year. To my surprise - and his - he shot a buck! Not a big one - but he is on top of the world having hardly seen anything out back since he started this adventure October 1st. He just walked out the door to try his luck again, as today is the opening of gun season.

Now, onto running . . . . 3 wet miles this morning for Brinkley and I at 9:27 pace. It was just drizzling when we left, but coming down fairly hard as we ran back home into the wind. Ah - wakes ya up in the mornin'!

Happy Thoisday!!

Mary Nice wet run this morning.

I must have been just ahead of you, as I finished my last run of the week just as the drizzle started. By the time I finished getting the coffee brewing it was a downpour. gonna be some muddy trail for the 50 miler this Saturday!

It doesn't mater whether you're a lion or an antelope - when the sun comes up, you'd better be running."

Hi PDPers

Took another day off--that's four in a row now--but I'm going to try to get back out tomorrow morning.

We had rain today, too, for the first time in three weeks or so.

Mary Good runs so far this week with Brinkley. My dad hunts deer but hasn't shot one this year. My cousin went with him a couple of weeks ago and shot one just under 200 lbs (that's huge for down here).

Kevin Good luck at the 50 miler

Morning Gang,

Mary - Great run to you and Brinkley.

Kevin - Great run. Good luck this weekend. holy ****, 50 is a dreamer for me.

John - Enjoy the rest.

Sandee, Bailee and I were out this morning for 3 miles. Have to run the energy off them since we're leaving in a couple hours for Iowa. Got back, loaded the truck and the down pour started here. Talk about lucky. I'll check in next week.

Have a Good One!
