My father died almost 2 years ago from cancer, so the holidays the last 2 years haven't been the easiest time for me. His death has resulted in many changes in our family dynamics, and they haven't always been for the better. He really was the glue that held us together. So, first, I am thankful for this thread to help me remember how many things I DO have to be thankful for, even during the difficult times....

I am thankful for my husband, who is a wonderful provider for our family, so that I can stay home with our kids. I am especially thankful for this today, so that I could be there to see our 3 year old's preschool class dressed as pilgrims, indians and turkeys for a thanksgiving feast. Cute as can be!

I'm thankful for our 2 beautiful, healthy boys (3 and 9mo) who bring me so much joy!

I'm thankful for my health.
I'm thankful for love and laughter.
I'm thankful for my wonderful home.
I'm thankful for the cool weather and beautiful blue sky today.
I'm thankful for the babysitter whos coming tonight so I can go out to dinner at which I do not have to cut anyone elses food.... :-) You moms and dads know what I mean...

I DO have much to be thankful for! Thanks for helping me remember that on an especially emotional day!

I am thankful for my parents who brought me up the right way, were strict while I was growing up (now I understand why) and made me work and appreciate the value of a dollar.

Also thankful for my home, my friends, my job, and my record collection (yes a vinyl geek)

Cheers
