Re: Half Marathon Trainers week of Nov.18th
Great run Kim! congratulations on WHEREEVER you finished. I'm sorry I can't help you with the feet issue.
SimonR, I can relate to the 'no xtrain lately' Like, when am I going to find the time to xtrain? Running everyday, working, cooking for the kids, sleeping, ... I'd love to get out and hike, or ride my bike, or build up my upper body, it's frustrating but I do know that I love to run, and I'll keep doing it!
Joe, I picked up some Brooks 'Glycerin' shoes. More of a cushion in the shoe -vs- the Brooks Adrenaline GTS7 that I had. It seemed the Adrenaline only stood up to about 100 miles and then I'd have some significant knee pain. Yuk! A buck a mile is pretty steep for shoes. I'm hoping to get around 300 miles out of these Glycerin's, not to mention less knee problems.
and, thanks for putting me in the current thread!
I'll do my short recovery run (20 min) this afternoon after work.
Good luck everyone on your runs, or recovery today!
Kevin
