"..You're flying to see family for Thanksgiving, and fully 1/3 of your suitcase is running gear."

That's totally me this year! I guess I'm a runner now. Weeee.

Happy Running and Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

You get up in the middle of the night - not to start the turkey - but to make sure you get a good run in before you have to cook Thanksgiving dinner for the extended family.

When you pay more attention on the miles on your shoes, VS the amount of miles on your car for scheduled maintenance.....I am guilty of this, lol

When, on a rainy day, I look outside and think, good, I won't get too hot on my run today.

When I run in the sleet and am proud of the icicles hanging from the brim of my cap!

When you go running in 40 degree weather and don't feel that cold at all! And cold gear is on the top of my list this year for Santa!

When going to the coast for the long holiday becomes more about when I can get my run in rather than saying, "Credit Cards up! It's time to scour the outlets!!!"

And it's when I look forward to this website more than anything to report on my success and to hear the triumphs of others.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, and remember, it takes a 3 miles walk to burn the calories gained in a serving of mashed potatoes and gravy!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When plans are made around your runs now....rather than runs around your plans......

Also remember 1 slice of Pecan pie has 500 calories.....

Pumpkin is best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at least for me....

.... when you go to the grocery store and you actually have to avoid buying frozen foods because your freezer is currently full of 2 giant Pea bags for ice packs, and a couple pre-frozen running bottles (happened today, wifey wasen't happy )
