week5 day3 success! and ankle pain question

Today was my week 5 day 3! It went very well, and I'm really enjoying the program so far. I've started to have a little ankle pain though, on my last two runs, and thought I'd run it by some of the more experienced runners here.
It's a sharp pain on the inside of my right ankle just behind the bone that sticks out there. It kicks in about 8 minutes into my run and from then on I feel it every time I land on that foot while running- it keeps on till the end of my cool down walk, but usually by the time I'm showered and cleaned up it's dissipated. It hasn't been enough to stop me during my runs, but I'm a little concerned that it's something I could make worse.
In the past I've had shin splints, and stopped running in high school because of patellofemoral syndrome (with appropriate pt and exercises in the interim), which is why I'm so happy to have found such a good way to ease back into running. I really don't want to have to stop again...
