And don't forget DJ Steveboy's Podrunner mixes. I appreciate them so much. Just got one of the new ones called "Coolrunning"--appropriately enough! I'm 57, but I keep getting this strange urge to join the Navy......:-)

I have mine full of running cadences. They are fun to listen to, and all have the exact same beat (double time = 160bpm). Plus if your running alone or are not embarrassed you do the 'response' lines, it can make the miles go by faster.

9633 songs - all genres! .....I select which genre, create playlists per tempo, etc. depending on the type of run I'm doing....dance, hip-hop, classic rock, & even spa music for long-slow-meditative runs

I haven't tried pod casts yet.....but hear good things about them!

eta: Oh yeah! & sometimes I forget to put the earbuds in!

I listen to Jim Croce, Pete Yorn, Ben Folds, Joni Mitchell.

If I am struggling in a run I switch it to some hard core punk music and crank it real loud!!
