I read "The Secret Life of Lobsters" over the summer - fascinating.

What struck me was that after concluding whatever experiments of their curiosity http://how well can lobsters see? are they more motivatived (sexually) by scent or touch? and so on ... the biologists EAT their subjects.

I can't see that happening with mice.
