Anyone on here tried "Body for Life"?

Just got the book for women. Mainly as I am integrating weights into my workouts and needed to know how to do it. What did you think? How did it affect your running? Do you follow the diet recommendations as well?

thanks in advance for any feedback?

I have not done it, but I had a good friend a few years who did and it really changed him. He looked awesome and lost a ton of weight (he had a ton to lose). He was a walking infomercial for it! It was a great transformation inside and out for him.

Good luck!

The Body for Life for women is new, I've only tried the original BFL, but I loved it. I only used the strength training sections, I'm not good at spreading meals out over the day as they recommend and I do cardio every day. The strength training is fantastic, and results do show.

Re: Anyone on here tried "Body for Life"?
I have been doing the original BFL since January. I started out doing the program to a tee, weights, cardio, food everything. In March, I upped my cardio to running 5 days a week and stepped back on the weights. I now do the upper body portion 2-3 times a week with core training and some legs (lunges and side steps with band). I have noticed a huge change. Since January I have dropped 24 lbs and am running a lot better.

Re: Anyone on here tried "Body for Life"?
I've been thinking about trying it. My sister-in-law loved the original Body for Life and she lost a ton of weight on it. She also learned a lot about strength training and her arms are pretty amazing now. I just bought The Abs-Diet and I like...it's a good read, but I feel like it is geared towards men? The recipes and menu plans seem really heavy for a woman? Would you come back and update us if you like the Body for Life for Women?

Good Luck
