Book Recommendation

Hi!

I was wondering if someone could recommend a book on nutrition for a friend that is training for her first marathon.

Thanks in advance!!

I didn't find that book useful at all. It has little relevance to runners. It's more like "Basic Nutritional Concepts for Dieters Who Happen to Run Occasionally".

I found "Runner's World Performance Nutrition for Runners: How to Fuel Your Body for Stronger Workouts, Faster Recovery, and Your Best Race Times Ever" and "Sports Nutrition for Endurance Athletes" to be much more relevant for athletes.
